Sacramento is more than just the capital of the state of California and home to the Sacramento Kings. It’s rich in history, culture, diversity, and of course, delicious food/produce which is why it’s referred to as America’s “Farm-to-Fork” Capital. We have every dining experience you could want from Michelin Star fine dining to food trucks and everything in between. There are several Farmer’s Markets throughout the region and you can find one just about any day of the week. We also have hundreds of wineries and craft breweries that have their liquid creations featured in local restaurants.
Sacramento is home to the CA State Fair, music festivals, biking/hiking trails, lakes/rivers, golf courses, sports teams, and just about any other activity you are looking to do. Sacramento is also home to CA State University of Sacramento (CSUS or Sac State – Go Hornets!) and a short distance to CA State University of Davis (UC Davis – Go Aggies!).
Sacramento’s sports teams don’t just stop at an NBA Team. We also have the River Cats Minor League Baseball team and Sacramento Republic FC soccer team.
Sacramento is located close to Lake Tahoe for those looking for snow and fresh mountain air, Napa and Amador County for wine enthusiasts, and just a couple of hours drive from the Bay Area and the Pacific Coastline when you need to get away for the day or weekend.
