Shangri-la, Patio Dining Elevated!

Shangri-la is probably the most unique architecturally designed restaurant in all of the Sacramento region. It has the best patio dining experience you could ask for. The decor features retro pops of color mixed into an upscale modern design with a Palm Springs atmosphere. The expansive patio is filled with palm trees and potted greenery and the Bocce Ball court is lined with pink flamingos. You can gather around one of the many fire pits while sipping on craft cocktails and savoring their ever changing menu handcrafted with local fresh seasonal ingredients.

Their menu features snacks, small plates, and entrees. The snack and small plate menus are perfect for eating at the outdoor bar or sharing with a group so you can explore the entire menu. When it comes to cocktails they have your classics, seasonal house libations, daily craft creations, and of course SLUSHEEZ. What’s a SLUSHEEZ you ask? It’s like those drinks you used to beg your parents for whenever they filled up the gas tank but with Vodka! For those who like to keep their drinks simple they also have a beer and wine menu featuring local microbrews and wines throughout the California region and beyond.

In addition to everything else that makes their patio worthy of staycation dining, they are dog friendly! That’s right, even your fur kids can join you for a night out. If you’re worried about the weather ruining your experience don’t, Shangri-la has indoor dining as well. The patio also has space heaters for those cooler nights (or you can bring a blanket) and umbrellas and misters for those warm Sacramento summer evenings.

Shangri-la was established in 2019 by Fair Oaks native Sommer Peterson and is a women-owned small business.
